Henderson County Sheriff Office currently employs three school resource officers. These officers are to maintain a clean, safe, secure, and uninterrupted learning environment for the students, staff, administration, and parents of the Henderson County School System. Their duties  include components of a safe school climate, community involvement, building security, and maintenance, and the fostering of cooperative relationships between school and police.
